"Formerly known as Drive, RedElectrick is a rawer, more in-your-face project where the rock roots of the 70’s legends meet the up-beat indie attitude of the decade. It started in January 2007, when Pete and Ivan, who had been in another band for 3 years decided to leave to form a new band with a new style. They met up with singer Matt who was at the time searching for a band. A few months later they contacted long time friend Jonas to join the rhythm section of the band. Later on Raphael joined the group because of his energy and huge passion for the style and completed the 19-year old five piece band. They gigged constantly around the island, and always had positive feedback from those who attended. One of their greatest achievements was the Hard Rock Café Battle of the Bands, when the band won the competition against top local bands and won a trip to play in a Hard Rock Café in Spain. The band is currently working on their debut album with renowned producer Howard Keith who also produced top local bands. "
